Qarlbo has appointed Robert Belkic as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 October 2026.
Belkic brings more than 25 years of experience from senior finance roles. He most recently served as interim CFO at Nobia, following a similar role at Polarium. Before that, he spent 13 years at Hexagon, where he served as CFO for ten years. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance positions at EF Education First, Autoliv and Esselte.
“Robert brings extensive experience from Hexagon’s significant international growth journey, as well as from acquisitions and working closely with long-term owners. That experience is highly relevant to Qarlbo, and I am very pleased to welcome him to the team,” says Per-Arne Blomquist, CEO of Qarlbo.
For Belkic, Qarlbo’s ownership model and portfolio were central to the decision to join.
“What attracted me to Qarlbo was the long-term ownership and the breadth of the portfolio. I like the opportunity to work across different businesses and industries, with a clear focus on creating value over time. I look forward to contributing my experience and getting to know the businesses across the portfolio,” he says.
Belkic succeeds Erika Ståhl, who will now focus full-time on her role as CFO of Miramis Group.
The appointment is one of several senior appointments at Qarlbo in 2026. Earlier this year, Blenda Lagerkvist joined as Chief HR Officer and Robert Eriksson as Investment Director, reflecting the continued development of Qarlbo’s organisation.
