Qarlbo Energy, together with leading industry representatives, highlights the role of hydrogen in decarbonising heavy-duty transport in an op-ed in Dagens industri.
Hydrogen can complement electrification, particularly for long-haul and heavy transport where range and refuelling times are critical. To accelerate progress, we call for coordinated action in three key areas:
1. Expand hydrogen refuelling infrastructure
2. Increase the deployment of hydrogen-powered vehicles
3. Ensure clear, long-term regulatory frameworks
